I have been studying French since I was a middle school student and I am looking forward to sharing what I have learned since then with my students!

I also have a degree in political science and really enjoy the study of American political theory. I love learning in general and am happy to help you with all your classes, not just French! Stop by for extra help anytime - all I ask is that you tell me in advance.

When I'm not working, my favorite activities are surfing and snowboarding. I also love to travel! My favorite place to go is Biarritz, on the west coast of France. Surfing is very popular there and it is home to Roxy Jam Biarritz, which takes place every summer in July. I also like taking trips to Canada during the winter to snowboard.

Finally, I believe learning another language is very important. One thing I have realized in my travels is that Americans are unique in being monolingual (speaking only one language). Most people speak two, three, or four languages! Moreover, speaking another language opens up the door for us to experience other cultures first-hand. The most important thing I have learned from this is that there are good people in every part of the world, and the biggest factor to how we are treated by others is our own perspective (and behavior) towards them!
